Snoodles in Space: Escape from Zoodletraz, penned by the extremely talented Steven Joseph, marks the third chapter in the wildly popular (and rightly so) Snoodles series, and it continues the tradition of delivering sheer joy from beginning to end. I've sung this author's praises more times than I can count for his sensational work, and now I must bestow even more accolades upon him thanks to this latest triumph. I dare say, this installment has quickly snatched the crown as my favourite in the series to date; I was in stitches right from the start!

Joseph possesses an exceptional gift for crafting stories that every child will adore. And when I say every child, I mean every single one - even those rambunctious little whirlwinds you just wish would pick up a book. This story is precisely what they require: bright, colourful, humorous, and packed with action; just the ticket to ignite their imagination and nurture a passion for reading. As they plunge into the narrative, they not only relish a fantastic tale but also gain invaluable practice in their reading abilities.

The tale is overflowing with a level of silliness that kids simply can’t resist and perfectly paced to make sure there’s not a single dull moment. With a plot that features intergalactic musicians, a revenge plan, talking cats, a rescue mission and lots more wackadoodleness, the story is a delightful concoction of bonkers madness that will keep young readers on their toes. As usual, the characters are hilariously quirky, each adding their own unique flavour to the already zany plot. Moreover, the repetitive elements sprinkled throughout are a clever touch and a surefire way to keep young minds engaged, boosting the fun quotient even more!

Overall, I can't sing this book's praises enough, nor the whole series for that matter; it’s a guaranteed hit that will be read until the pages are dog-eared and tattered! Also, the thought of the absurdly fun pretend play that will result from this series fills me with so much joy; the fun won't just fizzle out when the book is closed, it will fuel the imagination of all who enter the whacky world of the snoodles!
